Standard grinding goes 6–12 inches below grade — deep enough to re-sod, replant grass, or lay a flowerbed. Planting a new tree in the same spot or pouring concrete? Tell us and we'll grind deeper.
Your choice: we haul them off, or leave the mound as free mulch — many homeowners use it for beds and paths. The hole is backfilled either way.
